AUTOMATED SURVEYS
Most people have no idea what a
surveyor is, or does. A good one-liner follows:
"A SURVEYOR IS A SOLICITOR/MATHEMATICIAN WITH
BOOTS ON"
Our company excels in its application of technology to the
science of surveying and our philosophy is encapsulated in our company
statement of "Quality Surveying Services Through People and
Technology".
Since the commencement of the company in 1988, we have
specialised in urban development from preliminary site surveys to engineering
construction and then the final legal title creation, consistent with the
functions of the BGC divisional operations, for example:
- Strata Titles
- Land Subdivisions and Amalgamations
- Building Site Surveys and Set Outs
- Boundary Definitions
- Contour/Feature Surveys
- BOMA (Builders Owners and Managers Association) Surveys
- Easements
- Engineering and Photogrammetric Surveys
We were one of the first survey practices to effectively
operate CAD (Computer Assisted Drafting) integration with total electronic
field observations. In addition, we have recently developed a system that
provides digital information in the layers and codes specifically for
individual clients, i.e. the data is converted to suit existing system set-up,
providing all information in digital format.
Our Company Objectives
- Set and maintain the very highest standards for all surveying services
provided by enthusiastic staff.
- Specialise in Urban Development:
-
- From standard site survey to construction set out.
- Urban development under the Land Act, Transfer of Land Act, Strata Titles
Act, Town Planning and Development Act, Licensed Surveyor Act and other land
related Acts, with Project Planning and Consultancy.
- The creation, and adoption of, computer software to fully utilise the
available technology.
- The interpretation of the legal procedures involved in Legal Titling.
- The implementation of the medium-high density housing policy needed
today.
To These Objectives:
We maintain professional field parties consisting of a leader
and a surveyor's assistant, both of whom have been thoroughly trained in
CAD Systems and their field applications.
Field party leaders are Licensed, Graduate or Engineering
Surveyors.
We have specialist processors including a Civil Engineer to
provide a complete professional drafting service and supply of digital
data.
Our people, dedicated to the smooth functioning of the office,
maintain the administrative infrastructure with system/computer connection with
the WA Water Corporation and the Titles Office.
Operations
Survey Data is collected using the very latest Total Station
Theodolites and Module Data Recorders, enabling a two-way transfer between our
computing/drafting facilities and on site field applications.
The use of such automation enables us to provide accurate and
legible data in the minimum of time.
