The team at Affinity Windows is proud to introduce a brand new innovative product to its existing range: E-Tech Life glass.

Officially unveiled to the public in March, E-Tech Lite glass has been specially designed for the harsh Australian climate. The new product was the result of hard work, dedication and collaboration between the Affinity Windows team and a local glass provider that aided in research, development and prototyping of the new glass.

E-Tech Lite glass will revolutionise our window offerings to clients. It assists in achieving energy star ratings for home designs, while still capturing natural light and views. In comparison to glass of 4mm nominal thickness, E-Tech Lite glass offers a 32% improvement in U-Value and 8% decrease in Solar Heat Gain Coefficiency (SHGC) transmission.

To see the exciting new changes taking place at Affinity Windows, BGC Australia CEO, Daniel Cooper, Director Sam Buckeridge and Building Products and Chief Procurement Officer Brian Adams were taken on a site tour where they were able to see first-hand the safety and operational improvements made at Affinity Windows in the 6 months. The new changes have resulted in increased manufacturing capacity with the ability to supply more builders with windows, doors, shower screens, robes and security products.

The site tour was followed by a presentation covering major commercial and residential wins, an update on the brand refresh and marketing, as well as the exciting growth plans for the new Jandakot site featuring new innovative technology that will deliver efficient and optimised manufacturing processes. The progress to date has been positively acknowledged by BGC Board and Senior Management.
