Affinity Windows were proud sponsors of the MBA WA – Housing Excellence Awards in May, Women Building Australia Lunch in October and Boardroom Luncheon in November.

The Women Building Australia Lunch was attended by over 150 people with the keynote speaker and panellists touching on the importance of mindset in overcoming challenges, the important role men in leadership play in making women feel welcome in the construction industry and tips for aspiring women seeking career progression.

Affinity Windows General Manager Rachel Hartwig said, “Affinity Windows is supporting the future of the industry and female participation in the industry by offering a glazier apprenticeship program in collaboration with the Melbourne Eastern Group Training (MEGT).”

“Affinity is proud of its strong and diverse workforce and hopes to attract more women into the industry,” Ms Hartwig said.

“At Affinity Windows, we are doing everything we can to encourage more female applicants with the vacancies within our business. These roles include management opportunities as well as trade / glazier opportunities.”

Affinity Windows, in collaboration with Envirotechnics, Floortech and Plumbtechnics, was also a gold partner of the HIA Perth Housing Awards in October.
