Apprentices

Our Apprenticeship Program
As an apprentice, it’s important to remember that you have an important role in day-to-day operations. As such, a few of your responsibilities will include:
- Working to the best of your ability to complete any tasks assigned to you.
- Understanding workplace policies and procedures to help you and others to keep safe and healthy on the job.
- Being punctual and reliable at all times, including letting your employer know as early as possible if you can’t make it to work due to illness or a family emergency.
- Participation in your ongoing training (such as a TAFE course), which is a requirement of completing your apprenticeship/traineeship.
Traineeships
Trainees play an important role within BGC Housing Group Trades.
Trainees are involved in day to day operations and work closely with other members in their trades team. A traineeship allows you to study for a certificate qualification and on average, it take people 1 to 2 years to complete.
