Congratulations to the BGC Construction team who have been awarded the contract to build Perth’s newest luxury apartment complex, Amara City Gardens.
Won through a competitive tender submission, the $50 million project will see the BGC Construction team build the 15-storey apartment complex for Iris Residential.
The major project will see the team use 11,000m3 of concrete, 7300m2 of precast panels, 45,000m2 of plasterboard!
Commercial Manager, Robert Gugliotta said the project is testament to BGC’s reputation as a provider of quality construction services.

After being appointed in December 2020, the BGC Construction team led by Project Manager Stephen Barr quickly kicked into gear and commenced site activation within a week of the agreement being finalised.
With over 60% of the apartments already sold by Iris, the project team has been working to tight deadlines to deliver this landmark project. In a mere three months, the team established the building’s foundation and in late March began pouring concrete for level one of the building — an incredible achievement!
Located adjacent to Westfield Booragoon, Amara City Gardens is a unique offering for Perth residents providing an integrated connection to the high-end retail precinct.
